Shipping & Pick Up

Upon checkout we have options for orders to be shipped OR picked up at our storefront location at 586 Water St., St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. If you choose Shipping at checkout your items will ship via Courier (usually UPS, Purolator, or ICS, we will choose the best option), or with Canada Post (expedited).

All orders are generally processed within 1-9 business days. However, sometimes we may require some extra time, up to 15 business days. If this is the case for your order we will contact you. Shipping Options within Canada

We are committed to accessibility and transparency. Unfortunately, shipping rates are determined by the carrier. We have subsidized shipping costs over the last 2 decades as much as we can, and our rates have only changed once in over 20 years!

Tvål charges a flat rate of $15 CAD for purchases under $100 CAD (before taxes, and after discounts) and FREE shipping is available for all $100+ orders, anywhere in North America!

**PLEASE NOTE THAT US SHIPPING HAS BEEN SUSPENDED DUE TO TARIFFS AND MORE COMPLICATED CUSTOMS AND DUTIES PROCESSES**

Flat rate AND free shipping is shipped via courier ground (usually UPS, Purolator, ICS usually takes 1-4 days to arrive), or Canada Post Expedited (takes 1-9 business days to arrive).
If you want your package faster you can choose Xpress (more expensive, but arrives within 1-3 business days).

Standard Shipping is Air Mail Small Packet USA (for packages less than 2lbs) OR Expedited USA (for packages more than 2lbs).
Air Mail Small Packet USA: faster, 6-9 business days but it doesn't have tracking info.
Expedited USA: usually takes 10-14 business, but on a positive note it does have a tracking number.
If you want your package faster you can choose Xpress mail. It takes 6-7 business days to arrive, and there is a tracking number.

Orders from the rest of the world: temporarily suspended

We cannot offer free shipping on international orders... Your Shipping Cost will be determined at checkout after you enter your Shipping Address.
Most orders will ship by ' Canada Post Tracked Packet International' and usually takes 14 business days to arrive.
Orders that weigh more than 2kg have to be shipped as a "regular" parcel... These are called Canada Post Parcel Surface International and they usually take 6-12 weeks to arrive.
Please be aware that your order could be subject to customs. Check your country's customs policies before ordering if you want to avoid a shock! We can't mark your package being worth less than it is (for insurance reasons) and we can't mark it as a gift (unless it is).

We do not provide refunds, replacements or credit for parcels that are lost/damaged/stolen. By placing an order with us, you accept that it will be subjected to the terms and conditions set by Canada Post with regards to insurance and compensation for delays, damage or loss of shipments.
