Christmas 'Gone with the Fairies' (Fairy Dust) Foaming Bubble Bath
"What happened to her?"
"Oh, she's gone with the fairies, b'y"
In Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, the woods 'Fairies' have been a part of our culture for generations. They are said to manifest as small, moving bright lights in the trees and bushes. If you encountered them, they are likely to try and entrance you, to try to cause you some kind of trouble or confusion, or to lead you astray, getting you lost in the woods.
As kids, we would sit with our grandparents and parents in awe and delight, to be entertained with the creepy, and sometimes outright terrifying stories of the mischievous fairies that lived in the woods - stories of people being lost forever, because they had been taken away by the fairies! "Look out for the fairies!" they'd say. "Beware of the fairies."
Of course, not all the stories ended tragically. Many times, the subject of the story would encounter the fairies, but manage to get away! Sometimes they would be lost for an entire night, confused and not knowing how to find their way back home - but they eventually would come home, sharing their tale. You see, there were certain things one could do that would confuse the 'devilish little imps'. If you turned your cap inside out you might just be lucky enough to avoid any harm.
Our Fairy Dust Foaming Bubble Bath is inspired by the fairies of Newfoundland and Labrador. It's a 'fairy blast', but this one won't do any harm. This one will entice you, or relax you (depending on the scent) and 'take you away'...to a very happy place ;)
